Danzo is the brainchild of busy New York City mom Alyssa Apple and her husband Gary. Aside from their demanding jobs, hers as a network TV publicist, and his as a TV Sportscaster, they are also parents to two amazing little girls.

After Dani and Zoe were born, they realized all diaper bags were basically the same. Yes, some were more stylish than others, but in the end, things were just stuffed in with no rhyme or reason, and inevitably something was forgotten. After that happened one too many times, their idea of Danzo - with its unique patent-pending system of clear interchangeable velcro labeled pockets - was born.
